- Cooper was born 30 Oct 1772 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.
- Mary was born about 1778, possibly in New Haven County, Connecticut. She was christened on 26 July 1778.
- Married on 10 Feb 1796 in North Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.
- In the 1800 census they were in North Haven, New Haven, Connecticut
- In the 1810 census they were in East Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.
- In the 1820 and 1830 census enumerations they were in New Marlborough, Berkshire, Massachusetts.
- In the 1840 census they were in Thompson, Geauga, Ohio.
- Cooper died in Thompson, Geauga, Ohio after 6 January 1840, when he wrote his last Will and Testament and before 29 March 1842, when it was admitted to Probate.
Information I'm seeking:
- Dates and locations of death and burial for both Cooper and Mary.
- Unconfirmed information indicates that Mary Sackett Blakeslee may have died around 1850 in Waterbury, New Haven, Connecticut; seeking confirmation. They had a daughter who remained in Connecticut when the family moved to Massachusetts.
- Information to confirm whether or not any children were born to Cooper and Mary while they lived in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. The 1820, 1830, and 1840 census enumerations indicate there may been children in the household who would have been born after the family moved to New Marborough. His will mentions three children (Uri, Mary, and Jason) that I'd been unable to confirm previously. I believe Uri may be the last child of Cooper and Mary to be born in Connecticut while Mary and Jason may have been born in New Marlborough.
- Relationship to other Blakeslee families in Geauga and Ashtabula Counties in the mid to late 19th century.
