Miles O. Webster

Miles O. Webster, 80, of 6779 Painesville-Ravenna Road, died Friday at his home after a lingering illness. Born in Thompson Oct. 20, 1884, he was a resident of Lake and Geauga Counties all his life.

Mr. Webster was a carpenter by trade. His first wife, Viola, died in 1948. His second wife, Emma, died in June 1965.

Survivors include daughters Mrs. Alma Cathan of Painesville, Mrs. Adolean Myers of Mentor, Mrs. Isabell Alderman of Ashtabula, and Mrs. Dorothy Reid of Chardon; stepdaughters Mrs. Ethel Lampman of New Mexico, and Mrs Grace Woodin of Columbus; brother Willis of Painesville, 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Spear Funeral Home. The Rev. David H. Patton of Chardon Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
