Oliver B. Warren

Oliver B. Warren, 92, of 66 Nelmar Drive, Painesville, died Wednesday in Lake County Memorial Hospital, Painesville, following a brief illness.

Mr. Warren was born Feb. 28, 1883 in Delmont, in the Dakota Territories. He came to Painesville in 1927.

He was employed at the Diamond Shamrock Company, Painesville, during World War II, the Loveland Memorial Company,and was a magician and an acrobat for many circuses and carnivals.

His wife, Ethel preceded him in death in 1955.

Survivors include four sons, Hervey, Frank and Clinton, all of Painesville, and Harold of Mentor; two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Pettit, Painesville, and Mrs. Marie Haynes, Madison; a brother, Lloyd, in California, 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at the Spear Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Amon G. McSwords, minister of First Church of Christ, Painesville, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Painesville.

Calling hours are 3:30-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
