David Richardson Warren

David R. Warren

David R. Warren, a 1957 graduate of Painesville Harvey High School, died Wednesday in Honolulu, Hawaii in a car accident. He was 42.

Born May 1, 1939, in Chardon, he lived in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.

Mr. Warren was a chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy stationed at Pearl Harbor. He was in the Navy for 24 years.

Survivors inlcude, wife Patricia; sons, Richard and Robert, both at home; stepdaughters, Mrs. John (Diane) Lenox of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. David (Susanne) McKeever of Honolulu, Hawaii; parents, Hervey and Nina Warren of Painesville; brothers, Leon of Painesville, Hervey A. of Madison; and three grandchildren.

Services will be 9 p.m. Tuesday at Spear Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville. The Rev. John Mills of the First Church of Christ, Painesville, will officate. Burial will be in Jacksonville, Fla. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to a favorite charity.
