Graveside Funeral Service for Mabel G. Srp, 96, of Montville Township, a homemaker, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Montville Cemetery, Rt. 528 (Madison Road), 500 ft. north of Rt. 6 (GAR Highway), Montville Township.
Mrs. Srp died May 7, 2002, at Geauga Regional Hospital in Claridon Township.
Born May 22, 1905, in Montville Township, she lived in Montville Township for all but 16 years in which she lived in Cleveland (1924-1940).
She was a member of the former Montville United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Thompson High School and enjoyed working outside in her yard.
Mrs. Srp worked for R.L. Polk Co. when she lived in Cleveland.
She leaves many close friends.
Her husband, Joseph Srp, whom she married in Chardon on August 9, 1928, died on Jan. 12, 1979. Her parents, Carl and Ada (Knauf) Webster, are also deceased.
There will be no visitation. The Rev. Harley Wheeler of Thompson United Methodist Church will officiate at services.
