Dorothy Viola (Webster) Bertleff Reid
Funeral services for Dorothy Viola (Webster) Bertleff Reid, 88, of Chardon, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.
Mrs. Reid died Oct. 27, 2003, at UHHS Geneva Memorial Hospital in Geneva.
Born July 4, 1915 in Painesville, she lived in the Chardon area for more than 38 years.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reid was a binder helper for the former Snap-Out Forms in Chardon from 1947 until her retirement in 1972.
Survivors are sons, James Bertleff of Chardon Township and Ronald (Janice) Bertleff of Chardon Township; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, James W. Reid, whom she married in October 1963, died Aug. 26, 1995. Her parents, Miles and Viola (Trask) Webster; and three sisters are also deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. Don Cummings of Mayfield United Methodist Church in Mayfield will officiate at services. Burial will be in Chardon Municipal Cemetery.

Dorothy Viola Bertleff Reid (nee Webster), 88, of Chardon, died Oct. 27 at Geneva Hospital.

A binder helper for the former Snap-Out Forms in Chardon from 1947 until her retirement in 1972, she married James W. Reid in October 1963 in Rock Creek. He preceded her in death on Aug. 26, 1995.
Mrs. Reid is survived by her sons, James and Ronald (Janice) Bertleff, of Chardon; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, James, she was preceded in death by her parents, Miles and Viola (nee Trask) Webster, and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Oct. 31, and burial was in Chardon Municipal Cemetery.
