Memorial Services for David L. Putka, 65, of Thompson, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mr. Putka died Sept. 23, 2002, at Austinburg Rehabilitation Center in Austinburg.
Born April 5, 1937, he was a Thompson resident for the past two years, formerly a lifelong Lake County resident.
He enjoyed building homes and remodeling. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Mr. Putka was an inspector at Caterpillar Corp. in Cleveland and Mentor.
Survivors are his wife of 26 years, Karen; sons, Phillip (Debbie) Putka of Eastlake and David (Wendy) Putka of Hixon, Tenn.; daughter, Deborah (Brian) Rayl of Leroy; step-children, Timothy (Sandra) Woodruff of Mentor, Terrence (Linda) Woodruff of Madison and Stephanie Woodruff of Mentor; granddaughters, Angela, Kelly, Kristina (Darrell), Alexis, Jill (Steve), Tabitha (Harold); grandsons, Tim, Matthew, Stephen, Drew, Jason and Michael; great-granddaughter, Summer; sister, Janet Farmer Klee of Mentor; niece, Kathy Farmer; nephews, Michael Farmer, Jeffrey (Maryann) Farmer and Patrick (Christi) Farmer.
His parents, George and Mabel Putka; and son Gregory Putka, are deceased.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in Perry Cemetery in Perry.
