Jack Lee Pettit AKA, Jackie Peterson
Funeral services for Jack Lee Pettit, AKA, Jackie Peterson, 58, of Mentor, will be 5 p.m. Sunday at Brunner Nixon Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 176 N. State St., Painesville.
Mr. Pettit died April 24, 2004, at Manor Care in Willoughby.
Born June 12, 1945, in Painesville, he lived there and in Los Angeles before moving to Mentor.
He attended Painesville Township local schools and was a member of ASCAP.
Mr. Pettit was a singer, songwriter and entertainer. He was also a recording artist who was signed on by London, Warwick and Capital records. He also performed in local dinner clubs.
Survivors are his brothers, Dennis Pettit of Mentor and Richard Pettit of Painesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Florence; and brother, David.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Jack Lee Pettit AKA Jackie Peterson in care of the family.
