O. A. Loomis, 60, Dies At Hospital
Otis A. Loomis, 60, of Route 20, Painesville Twp., died this morning at Lake County Memorial Hospital after being ill for several months. He had resided in Lake and Geauga counties most of his life and was a member of the Painesville Aerie No. 2278, Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Hazel; three daughters, Mrs. Odalite Taylor of Montville, Mrs. Sylva Brown of Painesville and Mrs. Charlotte Phillips of Chardon; three sons, Paul of Unionville, Oscar of Austinburg and Edward of Mentor; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. Lester Ford officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Sunday noon.
