Stanley Lassnick
Stanley Lassnick, 53, of 405 Everett St., Grand River, died Wednesday afternoon at Lake County Memorial Hospital, Painesville.
Born May 10, 1921 in Fairport, he was employed in the Chromate Division of Diamond Shamrock until it closed several years ago. He was later employed by the FP&E Railroad n Fairport.
He served in the Army in World War II and was a member of the Fairport VFW.
Survivors include: his widow Ethel; his mother, Carrie Lassnick of Grand River; two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Hunsucker of Grand River, and Mrs. Barbara Sullivan of Painesville; two brothers, George of Leroy, and Edward of Painesville; five sisters, Mrs. Daniel Sasu of Grand River, Mrs. Florence Ford of Mentor, Mrs. Julia Yohe of Mentor, Mrs. Stella Long of Grand River, and Mrs. Pauline Parrish of Concord; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Spear Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Rev. Tully Cunningham of Painesville Baptist Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
