Ethel Lassnick

Services for Ethel "Mona" Lassnick, 65, a lifelong resident of Grand River, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.

Mrs. Lassnick died Friday at LakeEast Hospital in Painesville after a brief illness.

Born DEC. 7, 1923, in Grand River, she was a member of Painesville Baptist Church. She was also an avid bowler.

Survivors are her daughters, Barbara Sullivan of Painesville and Rebecca Britton of Mentor; sisters, Nina Noon of Mentor and Philiss Koston of Chardon; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Her husband, Stanley, died in 1974.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The Rev. Jim Mayes of Painesville Baptist Church will officiate at services. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.

The family suggests contributions be made to American Cancer Society, Lake County Unit, 125 E. Erie St., Painesville 44077.
