James Fleming Taken by Death
James Fleming, 68, of 204 W. South St., died Tuesday in a Cleveland hospital after a long illness. He had lived in Painesville most of his life and was employed by the New York Central railroad as a carpenter.
He leaves four daughters. Mrs. Mabel Webster, Mrs. Irene Hughes, all of Painesville, and Laura Combs of Ashtabula; three sons, Edward, Corbett, and Bert of Panesville; a brother Paul of Youngstown; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Watrous of Niles, and Mrs. Kate Lewilder of Andover; 27 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held a the Nixon Funeral home with the Rev. James Burns conducting the services Thursday at 2 p.m.. Burial will be made in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call a the Nixon Funeral home, N. State St. this evening.

Rites Held for James Fleming
Funeral services for James Fleming, 68, of 204 W. South St., who died Tuesday in Cleveland, were held at the Nixon Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 2. The Rev. James A. Burns of the Church of Christ conducted the services.
Palllbearers were Edward Fleming, Corbett Fleming, Bert Fleming, James Fleming, Jr., Oliver Hughes and John McTagart.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
