Richard W. Donley
Services for Richard W. Donley, 70, of Geneva-on-the-Lake, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River St., Madison.
Mr. Donley died April 20, 2005, at Ashtabula County Medical Center in Ashtabula.
Born Aug. 29, 1934, in Painesville, he lived there before moving to Geneva in 1998.
He was a 1952 graduate of Riverside High School in Painesville Township. He enjoyed camping, spending time outdoors and watching stock car racing with his sons and grandsons.
Mr. Donley was a meat cutter for Topps, retiring in 1996.
Survivors are his wife of 35 years, Imogene (Burr) Donley, whom he married Oct. 4, 1969 in Painesville; daughters, Pamela (Bill) Myers of Painesville, Gail (Emory) Hickman of Madison and Denise Donley of Tennessee; sons, Keith Carpenter and Richard Donley, both of Painesville and Bill Donley of California; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Clarabell Roe of Perry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Verna (Webster) Donley; daughter, Kathy Roberts; son, Kelly Donley; and brother, Clarence "Pat" Donley.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. C. Darrell Lynn of Painesville Church of God will officiate at services. Burial will be at Perry Cemetery in Perry.
The family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Road, Mentor 44060.
