Ronald E. Clark
Funeral services for Ronald E. Clark, 68, of Claridon Township, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (on Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.
Mr. Clark died Sept. 22, 2003, at his residence.
Born Feb. 2, 1935, in Painesville, he was a lifelong Lake County resident until moving to Claridon Township three years ago.
He earned an associate degree in horse management from Kent State University. He enjoyed all aspects of horses and devoted his life to riding and caring for them.
Mr. Clark worked at Wilcox Stables in Kirtland for 30 years.
Survivors are his wife, Cindy (Belle), whom he married in 1993; daughter, Barbara (Mike) Behanna of Windam; sons, Robert (Nancy) Clark of Los Alamos, Colo. and Randy (Michele) Clark of Kirtland; grandchildren, Sammy Clark, Kisha Clark, Maranda Clark, Ethan Clark, Faith Barnett, James Behanna, and Joseph Black; great-grandchildren, Mason Zajaczkowski and Cameron Michael Barnett; brother, Frank (Carol) Clark of Canada; and sisters, Betty Holland and Whilamina Tiffen of Florida, Louise Stoddard of South Carolina, and Nancy (Richard) Palinkas and Bonnie (Kenny) Love of Geneva.
His son, Ronald Clark Jr; parents, O. D. and Lottie (Sweet) Clark; former wife Betty (Sanders) Clark; and sisters, Ada Bell Criss and Charlene Clark, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. William Pearsons, chaplain of Geauga Regional Hospital, will officiate at services. Private family burial will be at a later date.
