Mrs. Sylvia Brown
Mrs. Sylvia D. Brown, 49, of 43 S. State St., died Monday night at Hawthornden Hospital following an illness of five months.
Mrs. Brown was employed as a clerk at the S.S. Kresge Co., prior to her illness.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Painesville.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Hazel Webster, Painesville; three daughters, Mrs. Shirley Rackley, Mrs. Eileen Urban, both of Painesville, Mrs. Jacqueline Harper, Hambden; a stepdaughter, Annabelle Justis, Painesville; stepsons Wallace Brown, Madison, Ernest Brown, Eastlake; sisters, Mrs. Odalite Mastony, Painesville, Mrs. Charlotte Phillips, Chardon; two brothers, Paul Loomis, Ashtabula, Edward Loomis, Painesville; and 11 grandchildren.
Services are Friday 2 p.m. at the Spear Funeral Home. Friends may call tonight 7 to 9 and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial is in Evergreen Cemetery.
