Lois H. (Smith) Brown
Services for Lois H. (Smith) Brown, age 78, of Leroy, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
Mrs. Brown passed away Dec. 15, 2008, at LakeEast Hospital in Painesville.
She was born Feb. 18, 1930, in Painesville.
Lois was a member of First Church of Christ and their Elderberries group and the Booster Class. She enjoyed embroidery and working on word search puzzles.
Survivors are her sons, Michael (Linda Earle) Hathcock and Gregory Hathcock, both of Painesville; daughters, Bonnie Frye of Leroy Township and Jackie Smeby of Painesville; grandson, Timothy Hathcock of Painesville and eight other grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and aunt Phyllis Koston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Brown, who passed away July 27, 1987; grandson, Lindsay Moore; parents, Fred and Mildred (Webster) Smith; and twin sister, Louise Randles.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.
