As I posted in my Weblog, I've found information regarding Oliver R. Warren in Pomfret, Vermont. I learned of a daughter, Anna, that I hadn't known about and found a reference to a marriage between Joseph Warren and Betsy Bullock. I believe this Joseph Warren may be Oliver's son. I've also seen a reference to Daniel being married to a Polly Bullock. Records from Monroe County, New York show that Daniel's wife's name was Mary. Back in those days, Polly and Mary were often synonymous.
I came across a database at the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) which revealed a lot of information and provided clues helping to confirm Oliver's relationship to Asa Warren and Tabitha Johnson and his descendancy from John, the Emigrant, Warren. In this database I also found clues identifying Lucy Winslow's parents as Thomas Winslow and Rebecca Ewer. Preliminary research of her descendancy shows she is not descended from Edward Winslow of the Mayflower.
I had the obituaries from my June visit to Painesville done quite a while ago but it was just today that I updated the index files and uploaded them to the server. There are about 40 new obituaries for a total of 103. Sorry it took so long.
I still haven't heard from the library in Ortonville, Minnesota about my inquiry regarding the obituaries for Franklin and Alice Warren. Does anyone happen to know Franklin's date of death and where he died? Are there any relations living in the vicinity of Big Stone County, Minnesota who could pay a visit and find them?
